About Course

The integration of computers and other different devices allows users to communicate more easily. Hardware and software are use in computer networks to connect o connect computer tools in any network. This network consists of various kinds of nodes. Servers, networking hardware, personal computers, and other specialized or general-purpose hosts can all be nodes in a computer network. Hostnames and network addresses are to identify the nodes. A computer network is a telecommunications network that allows computers to exchange data.  The best-known computer network is the Internet.

Today, computer networks – including LAN and WAN – have become too complex that we need software tools to understand their behavior. The network is an essential part of life. Without a network, it is impossible to live up a digital life. Along with the pros, there are cons. Security is an essential part of the network. Network Simulator is a powerful open-source network simulation tool. Network simulation offers an efficient, cost-effective way to assess how the network will behave under different operating conditions. This is a computer networking simulation course using Cisco Packer Tracer to simulate events for us to analyze the behavior of the networks. Packet Tracer is a cross-platform visual simulation tool which is designed by Cisco Systems that allows users to create network topologies and imitate modern computer networks. The software allows users to simulate the configuration of Cisco routers and switches using a simulated command-line interface.
