<h3 class="ql-align-center">Welcome to the IELTS Reading Techniques Course!</h3> In this course, you will learn different strategies and tips for the IELTS reading section. You will learn important skills that will help you pass this section of the test successfully and be well-prepared for your reading test.The IELTS Reading test&nbsp;consists of 40 questions, designed to test a wide range of reading skills. These include reading for-<ul><li>gist,</li><li>reading for main ideas,</li><li>reading for detail,</li><li>skimming,</li><li>understanding logical argument and recognizing writers’ opinions,</li><li>attitudes and purpose.</li></ul>We will discuss how to manage your time and tackle every reading passage with confidence. Also, you will learn how to complete all the task types for the reading section. We will also review various strategies such as matching headings, short answers, true/false/not given, completing sentences, and other questions. Managing your time in the test is important as you only have 60 minutes to answer 40 questions. It is always recommended to spend no more than 20 minutes on each part of the Reading test, however, if you find the first passage easy, you may finish it in a shorter time, allowing you more time to answer questions in the next two passages.The passages get harder as you move through the test, so ensure you have enough time to tackle the final passage. Even though the IELTS test can be challenging and scary, knowing what to do and how to do it right can help you attain a target band score.
